Perth Pool Deck

While traveling in the winter of 2016/17, I explored southern Australia by bike and stayed in Perth with a friend and built this deck. It is made of jarrah, a beautiful eucalyptus hardwood that grows locally. I built the rotating steps over an existing set of deteriorating masonry steps to avoid rebuilding the entire retaining wall.
